The event requires organization of activities, prizes, volunteers, decorations, security, food, etc. for our Grads and this relies on you, the parents, to make it happen.  We still need many more people to help bring this event to life.

The Dry Grad Committee meets the last Wednesday or Thursday of each month and rotates throughout the four participating secondary schools.  Please come to the meeting to learn more!

The first Dry Grad meeting this year is being held on Tuesday, October 9th, 7:00 pm at North Delta Secondary School in the Library.

  • Volunteers Needed

Dry Grad promises to be a great event for our graduates, but we need more volunteers. Committee members to look after decorations, prizes, donations, promotions, entertainment, food, security and clean up are required. Volunteers to help the night of the event are also required.

If you can contribute in any way, please contact  and your Dry Grad School Rep will connect with you.

  • Donations Needed

If you would like to help support this event with a monetary contribution, we would be pleased to provide you and/or your organization with public recognition and exposure to over 700 students, their families, friends and school staff.  Recognition varies based on the level of donation.  We will also gladly accept any NEW merchandise donations that can be used for prize giveaways. Please note items should be appropriate for 17-18 year olds.

Thank you for helping to make this year’s Dry Grad the best ever!

Commencement will be held at North Delta Secondary School Theatre at 7:00 pm.   Please check back for further information.

The BC Ministry of Education publishes two documents to help students and parents understand the many aspects of Graduation.

The Graduation Planner provides an opportunity for you to discover what you want to do in the future. This document helps you get started. It explains what’s required and where you have choices. It also covers exams, scholarships, funding, and links to web sites with helpful information. It’s your guide to the last three years of your highschool education.

The  BC Dogwood Planner provides addtional information for Grade 12 specifically.  It covers checking provincial exam marks, receiving your Graduation Diploma, how to order transcripts, and what you need to do when applying to post-secondary institutions.
